It Is Nature's Way

Her fires, her floods, her mighty winds,

Are lashing across our lands,

And try as we might to keep up with her,

She clearly has the upper hand...

It Is Nature's Way

It is Nature's way,

And she has the upper hand,

With a power as old as time,

She controls all of our lands.

Lately, she is lashing out,

In anger for what we've done,

The damage man has brought to her,

Seems impossible to be undone.

Her fires, her floods, her mighty winds,

Are lashing across our lands,

And try as we might to keep up with her,

She clearly has the upper hand.

With smoke-filled skies and burning trees,

We all are paying the price,

With whirling winds and sinking land,

She is melting our polar ice.

We have polluted and disrespected,

Our land, our waters, our trees,

And the creatures of the forests and oceans,

Are fighting to be heard and seen.

Each one of us has to wake up,

Every day we must care and do our parts,

To preserve our beautiful, plentiful planet,

With love and respect from our hearts.
