Delicate Spring Blossoms
As I sit here in this moment,
Watching sunrise breaking over the hills,
I'm happy for all the new life springing forth,
Mornings no longer dark and heavily chilled...
Delicate Spring Blossoms
Yesterday, there was little sign of life,
Only tiny, green shoots on the trees,
But today, with the warmer weather at last,
There are delicate white blossoms to see.
The stark and barren branches,
Which remained stripped all Winter long,
Are finally coming back to life,
Under the watch of birds under song.
After such cold and freezing temperatures,
With anxious farmers praying for their trees,
The blooms are now finally springing forth,
It's a delightful sight to see.
There is hope for the orchards now,
Though still prayers for bountiful fruit,
It was a long and very harsh Winter,
With much snow and frost down into the roots.
As I sit here in this moment,
Watching sunrise breaking over the hills,
I'm happy for all the new life springing forth,
Mornings no longer dark and heavily chilled.
And I'm delighted to see cherry trees blooming,
With delicate, popcorn-like clusters for me to see,
I feel blessed that Spring has finally arrived,
And I'm grateful for those beautiful, now blooming trees.
