A Writer’s Creative Castle

I’m here in my creative castle,

The little house up on the hill,

Where the world is very peaceful,

And many things seem so still.

The orchard trees are sleeping,

The ground glistens with the snow,

The sun is shining brightly,

And there is one thing that I know.

I’m in my creative castle,

A place where my mind blooms with ease,

Where I write my stories and poems,

Prepping to publish for you to see.

Here in this very creative place,

My written works see the light of day,

My ideas come bursting to life here,

As I pen what I have to say.

This is a magical place,

Where so many stories are cast,

Where each day I am in my bliss,

When I pen my words to last.

I am grateful for each day here,

In this beautiful world where I live,

Where I create my stories and poems,

Something then tangible I can give.

Something I can share with you,

Something to brighten your day,

Something I bring to you with joy,

This is my writer’s way.
